Round 1: IDEA STAGE

  • Players are given their user card (image 1) and decide on an app idea.

Round 2: MISSION STATEMENT + DREAM CLIENT

  • Teams narrow down their focus, while keeping in mind who their user would be (image 2, below user card).

Round 3: PROTOTYPE

  • Players develop a rough prototype and are given users’ accessibility needs card (images 3+4).

Round 4: ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

  • Players are introduced to treasure box cards which each have accessibility tools they can implement in their design. They must choose which they want (image 5).

Round 5: SHOWCASE + REFLECTION

  • Players showcase their app and explain how they catered their design towards the user’s needs (image 6).
